BlogsThe wizards have vanished!Submitted by Steve Lamerton on January 13, 2008 - 6:05am
That's right, I have decided to drop the wizards from Toucan 2.0, however hopefully they will be back in 2.1. The reason is simple, rather than hard code the wizards into the program itself I would like to make the wizards user generatable, so that other people can create their own wizards and post them up in the forums for eveybody to use, however this means that if I tried to get this done for 2.0 there would be pretty serious delays (yes I do have a shedule, no I'm not going to tell you). So basically they will return Exams ho!Submitted by Steve Lamerton on January 5, 2008 - 3:54pm
Just a quick heads up to say that I have got three exams next week so I probably won't be around much. If anyone is interested it's two maths exams and a physics exam, good fun or what It lives (sort of)Submitted by Steve Lamerton on December 28, 2007 - 11:18am

Just a quick heads up to tell you all that Toucan had it's 100,000th download this morning Toucan 2.0Submitted by Steve Lamerton on October 1, 2007 - 10:20am
2.0 is the next major step for Toucan. As well as including a number of much requested features it also includes a complete interface rewrite. There is one main reason that I decided a rewrite was necessary, and that was because Toucan was becoming interface limited. For example translations are fairly difficult in 1.2 because it is a fixed size interface, this has also made it very difficult to add new features, short of changing the sizes of the entire dialogue and all of its components every time I need to add a new one. In the next few posts I am going to lay out the future of Toucan, in this post I am going to give a broad overview to my plans for the future. Currently development of Toucan can be summarised roughly by this diagram: Toucan 1.x Series Toucan 2.0 Series »
Blog Restart and August Download StatisticsSubmitted by Steve Lamerton on September 4, 2007 - 8:38am
Right then, as I am now properly host here on PA.com I thought that I would clear the blog out and start afresh. I'll be putting up some info about Toucan:TheNextBigVersion (Toucan:TNBV) in the next week or so but I'd like to start by putting up the download statistics for the month of August, basically I wanted to see how Toucan was comparing to the rest of the site, so here they are:
