Daemon tools

I know there are topics about it , but they are never really awnsered. so , why don't create a portable version of daemon tools ? So we can play our games directly on the guest pc instead of waiting hours until the game is installed ? It must be possible to create something like that ? It musn't be the same of daemon tools of course , just a portable app where you can start iso-images from.

From how I understand Daemon like tools run, they are system level driver based apps. Thusly, it would be very hard if not impossible to make them portable. Same can be said for VPN clients and other apps that utilize the low level accesses.

Someone else may be able to give a definitive answer but I believe at this time looking at other response to similar that it can not be done at this time.

Yes

I think they have to, to mount the virtual drive.
Same with most apps like that.

Ryan,

pay attention! The point in the comment just above that was that he needed a lot of space, and was then told that it was an Ipod 60GB. Tut tut Smile
