moniker until I had fully tested whether a shared GTK directory would work. It didn't work as well as hoped, so the option is in, but it's off by default. I'm kinda like Google in keeping the "beta" tags.

Portable GAIM is my third favorite portable application (after Portable Fx and Portable OpenOffice).

Thanks a lot for working on these portable applications! I can't wait for Portable GAIM 2.0's official release. Wink

I wish my PNY 512 MB Attache thumb drive hadn't crapped out on me. I had unplugged it for an hour and then plugged it back in and now it won't work whatsoever. I am complaining to them and hopefully getting a replacement, but tomorrow is when my Corsair Flash Voyage 1GB is supposed to arrive from NewEgg! I can't wait! But i am going to have to download all the apps again...but now i will have the most up-to-date versions.

Keep it up John!

Now we just need portable gimp that will run off a USB drive without any complications when switching to new computers.

Decided to try Portable Gaim after realizing that I was going to be on the road for a week - with OP's computers and didn't want to have to reload Gaim time after time. Followed instructions about porting my accounts over to the flash drive - worked on the first try.

Outstanding job on this - many, many thanks!
