Thanks

Thanks for your work on this, David. I made the OptiPNG fix we spoke about.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Is it

mentioned someplace here on the page that it now supports OptiPNG?

Many thanks

This is in my top two portable support apps (with KeePass) and top five overall (also Firefox, VLC, and Notepad++). I might use it less than once a week, but when I do need it, I'm glad it's there.

I use the heck out of it! I ended up using the portable version so much, that I installed it. Plus the installable version hit 1.0 and it took a little bit for this site to get it. This is a very nice app. I use it every day.

Thanks!

Thank you for this program!

Thanks for the 1.0 !

Thanks!
Light is translated in some more languages since the 1.0 version.
I've made the polish one, you can download the files here:

The French and German translations are still missing.
Do someone have time to translate it?

this app is great, i just

this app is great, i just have 2 issues

1. The date filename should be editable because as it is now it saves files in a screenshot.dd-mm-yyyy hh.mm.ss.jpg filename which doesn't get sorted alphabetically. It should be customizable so we could use something like yyyy-mm-dd_hh-mm-ss.jpg.

2. It doesn't seem to keep the changed path for storing the screenshots after restart if you choose a path outside the drive you have lightscreen in. This may seem non useful for people who only use portable apps in a flash drive but as for me, i use them normally in my pc so i would like to choose where they're being stored.

If it wasn't for this i would completely stop using fscapture (well, it also does video capture but thats another issue...) and only use this one

Why quit fscapture ?

Is Lightscreen better?

If so, in what way?

Well, FSCapture is shareware

Well, FSCapture is shareware and i prefer to keep my apps free. Also, i was having some problems capturing ingame screenshots with it...
Lightscreen is just simpler as in only doing what it is supposed to do: save screenshots.
Anyway, i've tried Lightscreen for a while but because of the issues i previously posted i've switched to PicPick (portable version also available here). It's similar to FSCapture and it's free.

This is a must-have app. I'd

This is a must-have app. I'd been using it for a while and can tell is a really good one.
Thanks!
