VLC Portable is the popular VLC media player packaged as a portable app, so you can take your audio and video files along with everything you need to play them on the go. This release updates VLC to the latest version, fixing a security issue. All users are encouraged to upgrade. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Thanks for the update!
I'm especially thankful because I had to uninstall my "normal" VLC player today - it was having a conflict with QuickTime. Now I can still have VLC... Biggrin

why does it seem that everytime i go to install VLC portable, it goes realllllyyy slow compared to other apps?
