Thanks for your work on this Simeon. I fixed the issue with the missing JPGs, window mode prompt and splash screen, by the way.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

for the fixes/improvements you made.

did you remove the window mode prompt???

You left the code for it intact so why not add a notice about it into the readme so advanced users can do it?

This is just out of curiosity.

We don't throw up prompts to users that are different from the standard versions of apps (the sole exception being Firefox, which was by necessity but we're going to phase that out shortly).

I thought since it's an INI option that you'd already documented it in the readme.txt, which is also why the code is intact to read it from the INI.

I just checked and it's documented in the ini but says that the user will be prompted.
I'll update that so its right for the next release.

I should have checked the read-me more thoroughly.My mistake.

[AssaultCubePortable]
RunWindowed=true

in AssaultCubePortable.ini - doesn't work

[AssaultCubePortableSettings]
RunWindowed=true

in Data\settings\AssaultCubePortableSettings.ini - doesn't work either.

So how can it run in Windowed mode?

[AssaultCubePortableSettings]
RunWindowed=true

in Data\AssaultCubePortableSettings.ini

That should work. For the next release, I'll add it to the other ini file.

I am glad you got it to work.

I will put it into the next release. I just think this doesnt warrant a revision as the main program is fully functional.

that's what I have in mind. There is no need for 2 inis if one can do the job.

Seems like everything's been going official over the last few days... check out the news RSS feed, PA.c was silent for a few weeks, then exploded a few days ago...

Unfortunately, I won't be getting this (don't want to play games during the school year)... but congratulations, Simeon! Biggrin

Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world

WOAH WHO!!!!!!!

finally this is no longer in the beta stage. I am proud to say i am definately going to download this!!!

Thank you all who made this possible. You Rock!!!

(If you could not tell I am very exited about this release!!!)

Only thing is left here is an app to hide the interface, when the boss comes into the office.

This is a great addition to the games section of PA.c. It's fast, furious and fun. Not too taxing on system resources, so you don't need a Cray Super computer to run it. There are probably FPS's out there that others would like better, but if I want a no-fuss, multiplayer blast then this is more than good enough for a quick fix.

Great work guys!
