Do you mean in the INI? If so, you can not use $ in the INI. Many of the portable apps are like that. The $ is a reserved character in the language the launchers are written in. Why would you have a $ in a directory name for portable apps anyway?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Lightscribe functions have nothing to do with it being portable, it's just not in the original app.

Also, I would recommend that when you create a DVD, you should choose to create a disc image instead of burning directly to DVD. The process of formatting the DVD files can take a long time, and if something goes wrong in the burning, you would have to start all over again.
Then you can use any DVD burning software to burn the image.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

DVDStyler Portable homepage software is good to use and it features are seems really effective such an easy to create DVD, support AVI, MPEG, VOB files, drag and drop video directly and many others. But its features could be seem worse because of while burning a DVD, its occurred often the problems and didn't work properly. Also, there is more interactive menu for creating DVD video and its take a long time to save a files, Otherwise in my view software (program) is not a bad.
