This allows you to keep an index of all the files on multiple drives and optical media in a single location for easy searching. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Features

ScreenshotVVV is an application that catalogs the content of removable volumes like CD and DVD disks for off-line searching. Folders and files can also be arranged in a single, virtual file system. Each folder of this virtual file system can contain files from many disks so you can arrange your data in a simple and logical way. VVV also stores metadata information from MP3 files: author, title, album and so on.

This app is packaged in a PortableApps.com Installer so it will automatically detect an existing PortableApps.com installation when your drive is plugged in. It supports upgrades by installing right over an existing copy, preserving all settings. Thanks for your work on this Jan. I added a quick bit to the launcher to handle path updates in the settings and revved it to the current release for the official release. Keep up with the new apps! Opera, Freemind, DamnVid, and now VVV, are great additions to the potableapps.com official apps lists.

I'm tired of people living in their fantasy world when the clock is ticking away, and when they are unable to see reality for what it is.

I can't find the Freemind Portable app you mention. Is it in Beta release? Where can I find it? Thanks to all.

I think Hunter meant FreeMAT (wishful thinking?), although there are development versions of Freemind (just search the forums).
