New App: RedNotebook Portable 1.1.2 Released

logoRedNotebook Portable 1.1.2 has been released. RedNotebook is a modern journal. It includes a calendar navigation, customizable templates, export functionality and word clouds. You can also format, tag and search your entries. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 users who already have this app installed, simply click 'Check for Updates' in your PA.c Menu to update to the new version.

Thanks for your work on this Patrick. I added drive portablization for the config file for users who decide to create additional journals outside of the data directory and the official splash.

John, appreciate all of your work. originally the program saved to the My Documents folder of the C drive I pre-configured it to data as did not really know where else I should put it. Ultimately it could go anywhere that the user chooses.

Interesting program and Clearlooks theme looks uexpectically fresh ^^

But I have some troubles. Prgram doesn't paste templates. And Settings menu item doesn't work.

All of the above work just fine for me on Win 7 x64 Ultimate except templates (which also fail on a local install). If you are having issues, please post a bug report with details (install location, OS, default or custom journal, etc) to the forums in Other Apps Support.

There is a new beta available which I am looking at now that claims to have fixed this issue... Will keep you informed on it and whether it will become portable or whether I will wait till official stable release
