logoNotepad2 Portable 4.2.25 has been released. Notepad2 is a simple, lightweight text editor with syntax highlighting for a few commonly used languages. This release updates Notepad2 to the latest version and adds automatic x86/x64 support. It's packaged in PortableApps.com Format so it can easily integrate with the PortableApps.com Suite. And it's open source and completely free.

Version Confusion: This release was originally marked as 4.1.25 as was the downloadable installer. It is 4.2.25 and this has been corrected. We apologize for the confusion.

Update automatically in the PortableApps.com Platform 2.0 Beta 5 by clicking 'Check for Updates'.

Isn't this an old version? I have been using the installed version of Notepad2 4.2.25 for a couple of months now.
