Firefox 28 has unpatched security issues and should no longer be use. Use Firefox 29 and install one of the classic themes or the status bar restorer if you don't like the changes. Other than the interface, Firefox 29.0.1 has patched security issues and improved speed.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I understand the security issues but australis is not compatible with my way of arrange the different bars (I've tried classic theme add on), so until I found a solution I will use 28, I'm really disapointed against mozilla for the mess and it's not the first time ...

Except for the add-on bar I believe you can arrange the toolbars to match any order allowed by previous releases. And there are several add-ons which restore the add-on bar (by itself or as part of a more complete "restore"). There are also some styles at userstyles.org which might do what you want.

Sounds like a question that Aris (the CTR dev) might be able to answer (and resolve?).

Mozilla Firefox ESR, Portable Edition

Currently (at time of this post) version is 24.5.0

ESR is behind on features, but is (I believe) up-to-date on security.

Personally, if it is a look/feel thing I'd recommend trying 29.x.x with the Classic Theme Restorer addon.

It's not exactly as it used to be, but you'll probably get used to it.

read the previous messages ...
"but with v29 the right click on the tabs is missing when I arrange like this (with classic theme restorer add on), I don't know why ..."

so the Classic Theme Restorer addon is not not working well for me I think ...

I've done a quick google search and can't find anyone else with your problem.

I'm wondering if the problem might be a caused by another addon?

can you do a clean install of Firefox Portable 29.x.x, then only add Classic Theme Restorer and see if you can right click on tabs?

I've made a clean install of firefox portable 30.0, then add only classic theme restorer.
I've rearranged the bars and icons as I want and the right click on tabs is still there.
I'm gonna add my add ons one by one to see if one of these is in cause.
