It's working fine here with English and Italian. Please make a post in the platform support forum with enough details to properly analyze and reproduce including your Windows version, platform version, full install path, old Firefox Portable version, and most importantly what language you are using (Firefox uses separate installers for each language).

Hey John, it was Avast deciding that it needed to block the download without warning (although it's set to) so I didn't need to open a support request.
