With this release, we are deprecating support for Windows XP in the portable app. The method we use to portablize Python/PyGTK no longer works on Windows XP with gPodder. So, the app will only work on Windows XP if Python and PyGTK are installed locally. The app will continue to work fully portably on Windows Vista and later. The app's launcher is not configured to lock out Windows XP for the handful of folks still using XP that may wish to use gPodder Portable in this fashion.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
