VLC Portable and Foxytunes Plugin

I just recently updated my Foxytunes Plugin (now using v 2.9.6) for Firefox Portable (v 2.0.0.3)so I can use the controls. I was wondering if anyone has had success getting this to work. I followed the directions given to setup and when I look at the Dox box it opens it shows the following:

I am trying to play .wma's and it looks like VLC is trying to use a DVD lib to open it. Any ideas?
