my guess

is a corrupt download.
Because the suite is fairly old and some programs have been updated, my advice would be to download the new beta release and then the individual apps you want/need. For example the version of firefox included in the suite is 2.0.0.0 ant the newest is 2.0.0.11!
Just make sure you install the menu first and then the apps cause then most of the apps will automatically find the right folder on your drive Smiling

You could also try to redownload the suite...

What?

Aren't you just supposed to run the NSIS Installer? It sounds almost like you are using 7-zip on a .zoo file.

Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.

I think

the suite 1.0 installers ARE self extracting zip files...
they are from "pre-nsis-installer" times Smiling

Right Click?

Did you right click, "save [target/link] as " ... to download the file?

If so, don't do that.
