How can I insert a picture in OpenOffice Impress. I always receive a "Unknown graphics format" message, for BMP and JPEG files. I can't either insert pictures in OpenOffice Writer. Best regards, ( categories: )

It should work..
via "insert" menu.So does it for me, even with restricted rights .If not,Your download might be corrupted.Try out on another PC.

In my experience...
It's usually over paranoid security programs that delete all the perfectly legitimate apps instead of the viruses. That's what happened to my CAFEMod once.
