ClamWin Portable 0.92 Upgrade Question

I can't swear to this but I'm 80% sure I've lost my preferences.
I "usually" set CWP to not scan certain file types.
I'm pretty sure I did it last time with a Clean install.
This time I installed in place [over existing CWP]
All preferences are gone.

Is this to be expected?
Not a biggie, but I thought I'd mention it.

{edit: never mind. Support page does not recommend over writing existing install so I guess it's not supported

Hopefully by doing that I did not mess up anything, John should I delete and try again? By the way the overwrite method would be good in future releases as it did maintain my definition files which are rather large. You might mention on the support page copying the def files as well as the ones you mentioned. This is of course assuming that they are current, which mine always are
I will test for speed and performance later, hopefully it will be faster.}
