PA Menu Shortcuts

Hello everyone, this is my first post here. Before I post my request I'd like to say that this looks like a great community and I look forward to some great portable apps in the future.

I conducted a search but received so many unrelated hits that I could not determine my answer. I also may have over looked the obvious and if this is the case please point me in the right direction.

I'm looking to add short cuts to other folders that I have on my external HDD through the PA Menu. In the below link I've circled the area where I'd like to add these shortcuts. Does anyone know of a way to implement this feature?

Answer

Tom, your question was questioned many times, in fact. In our Unofficial PortabeApps.com FAQ, on question "Is there support for [feature]?", your question is answered.

That feature is to come on one of the future versions of the menu. Meanwhile, you may want to look for forks of PAM on the Beta Testing Forums.

Hope to have helped

Couldn't find it...

PTMb, thanks for your help but I couldn't find anything related to my question in the link that you provided.

I may have not been clear as it is sometimes difficult to convey what one is trying to get across.

If I make a subfolder on the same drive that PA is on I'd like to access this folder from within the PA menu. How I've been doing it is to save the folder within the PA [Documents] folder but I've grown tired/lazy with flipping through all of the windows.

I can't see the image

I can't see the image becuase photobucket is blocked here, but I'm assuming you wish to add them under the other folders in PAM. As PTMB said, it can't currently be done, but support for that should be in an upcoming version of the menu.

as ptmb said..

while waiting for the forthcoming PAM You can bide Your time with the
mods , though not officially supported or using Convey portable with quicklaunch addon from within the suite, so You can adress Your folders from the Quicklaunch taskbar in windows..

Thanks

I believe this is what I was looking for but I'm far from being techno savvy. It is going to take me awhile of reading a playing around to see if this is truly what I was looking for.

@wk,

@wk, your links don't do anything, or are they not really supposed to be links?
