well, I don't really know what I have to do but I'm a php coder and I revamped many PHP application so I just hope it's similiar.
But even if I can't help with coding, I can always do the other things like full beta testing etc.
Why not use Notepad++, if I remember correctly it's based on Scintilla

It is just a text editor control for use in other apps.
The Windows based editors that use it include Notepad++ (portable version already done, here) and ScITE (portable version already done, here)
