I use 7-Zip, when I noticed that for Mac-On-A-Stick, I needed to extract a file for it to work. Unfortuanatly, it was in a bin file, which 7-Zip does not support. There are other programs that will do the job, but I am suggesting for the next release that .bin files are supported. ( categories: )

At PortableApps.com, we, um, don't actually write the programs.
What we, er, John T. Haller does is looks at the program and analyzes what it does to the system's registry, folders, etc. He then writes an NSIS program that allows the program to be run on any Window Operating System, while maintaining the host computer's settings.
The proper place to submit this request is to submit a feature request at the 7-zip Feature Request Forum

Simeon - February 29, 2008 - 1:52pmPortableApps.com only packages 7-Zip as a Portable App ,the actual development is done by the 7zip developing team. You could ask in their forums but lots of people have suggested new formats there and Igor Pavlov (the head developer) has said about disc images "I don't plan it for near future". So i guess you´ll have to use other programs.
