Combining Themes

I have a problem. I want to use a theme that has new fetures in it for the PA Menu. However, I want to use a different color. What do I do?

well...

if ya have photoshop, use the color picker to, well, pick a color, then go to the tab Image>adjustments>replace color and adjust the color with the hue slider and the lightness with the saturation slider(I.e. light green Vs. dark). unfortunately i am working off of a super outdated version of photoshop (V 7.0.0) but as far as i know, it is the same up to CS3.

unfortunately i dont know the procedure if you are working off of the gimp.

also if you dont have photoshop, there are plenty of cracked versions on bit torrent and limewire tha tare extremely easy to install.

Version 7 Outdated?

Try version 6 Wink

well i do advise use of the gimp more than photoshop, i also would have put the procedure for the gimp up there first if i knew how to do it!

besides, the procedure can't vary to much between the proggies, let me see if i can find out how to do the same with the gimp and i will post back later.

**EDIT**

Smithy! long time no talk! did ya get that email i sent you like a month ago?!? kinda havent heard from you in a crapload of time, did ya fall off the face of the earth or what?

anyway, just wanted to say that if you are still using version 6 than you are worse off than me! i do have a copy of CS1 but any self respecting user has CS3 that he/she uses in tandem with Gimp2.

You can use Paint.NET (much

You can use Paint.NET (much better than GIMP).

Just open the file select Adjustments -> Curves and choose the color you want.

Yes,

Paint.NET is a much more easier interface to use than the GIMP; it is the middle ground between MS paint and f. I use Paint.NET for my basic image editing requirements, and only use GIMP for the heavy projects where a lot of features are required. Unfortunately Paint.NET isn't open source, and requires .NET (duh) and is not portable. Sad Too bad.

It Is

MIT is a OSI approved license.
But Paint.NET uses 2 exceptions (graphics) so I'm not sure if that interferes with OSI.

Its similar to what

Its similar to what PortableApps.com and Mozilla do. Their code is freely available, but you can't redistribute their logos and claim it as your own.

good god! all image programs

good god! all image programs have Color Curves. It's not that difficult. Use GIMP (hey, it's here and Free).

load the picture and using the menu FROM the Image...access
Layers/
Colors/

and from there you can try
Colorize/
Hue-Saturation/
or
Curves/

depending on what you like......play around. It's easy

So I should link to the menu mod and the color theme? I want the menu mod R30, https://portableapps.com/node/8569

And the Super Paper Mario skin... which I must relocate. I'll be back with the link

There's no problem to change the format to R30.
Now we need your email and your color wishes...
