45 minutes to launch...................... David Dixon II
 Why does this new version take over 45 minutes to load each launch? this kinda maked me want the old version back unless i can somehow make it faster. "Querying new Plug-ins" part is ANNOYING!!!! ( categories: )

It loads faster than ever for me - and my laptop is not the newest (1.6Ghz P4)

For me
only the first launch took a log time, the second/third etc was a lot faster.

For me, the first launch
For me, the first launch took about 3 minutes, and all following launches took about 45 seconds to 1 minute

the latest version loads
the latest version loads within 20 seconds for me. first launch was pretty damn quick. prior version i'd say 3-5 minutes for first launch latter maybe 10-45 seconds, roughly the same as photoshop 7 for me.
