need IT, zh-CN Translation for JkDefrag PortableSubmitted by Travis Carrico on March 30, 2008 - 1:23pm
i recently added translations to JkDefrag Portable but i did it with Google Translate so i'm sure they're pretty bad. Edit: i still need help on fixing translations for Italian and Simplified Chinese. Please help me correct these. I don't know. All of the differences are only on "File System" (Sistema de Arquivo vs Sistema de Ficheiros) and the "Defragment and Optimize" (Desfragmentar e Otimizar vs Desfragmentar e Optimizar) options.
Don't forget though that Portugal and Brazil are two different countries with various differences in dialect. And there are more Portuguese (pt-PT and pt-BR) speaking countries than these two (Angola and Mozambique for example, that speak pt-PT, well, sort of, but officially that)
Everything else is about the same. But I'm not the right person to ask that (even though I know you didn't ask me ;) ).

i understand there are differences but won't one of the translations work for all Portuguese? it's kind of impractical to have a translation file for every country in the world.

You can get away with just pt-PT and pt-BR for an app like this. Most of the other ones around the world are a variant of pt-BR.

i'm having a little trouble adding Japanese because notepad and notepad++ only show the characters as boxes or question marks no matter what encoding i use. Can someone help?
Save the text file as UTF-8
Save the text file as UTF-8 encoding and paste it into the text file. Then check if the actual Japanese shows up in the app.

The computer's nouns of two type(CN; HK or TW) of Chinese are differ.
But, zh-HK and zh-TW are usually the same.
