Should I post my apps here?

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie here. So if my question is not appropriate, please let me know and I'm sorry about it.

I have written 2 applications recently using AutoIt. So can I post it here? So far I believe that it doesn't violate the rules here.

My applications are:

- WinMaster: It helps you to change the name (title/caption) of a window, change the opacity of the window, bring the windows always on top, close, hide, minimize it (in case the close, minimize buttons are disabled)
- ShutMeDown: Shut down/restart the computer automatically after some period of time.

I know that the functions of my applications are common and there've been a lot of programs doing so, but this is written on my own so there should be no copyright issues here.

Look forward to your advice.

Thanks,

Are you making the source

Are you making the source code Open Source under one of the FOSS licenses? Only FOSS software is allowed to be posted here.

Except

for the part where you never get a 'good job!' for it...
And then they'd release a commercial version and earn your money :(...

There is no application

There is no application process, just add the .txt file somewhere to your application's directory structure.

I'd recommend GPL or LGPL license.

Yea

As long as they're under and OSI Approved License as linked above, it's okay. If they're portable, post them in beta testing. If not, post them in Off-Topic and make them portable. Smile
