Leave it as is
You really don't need to change any of the default settings.
The settings that matter most:
General:
Leave on "Report Only", ClamAv has too many False Positives to use "Remove" unless you know you have an infection [i.e. You knew before you ran CWP that you were infected and that's why you ran it, as opposed to just using it as a backup checker].
Filters:
You might choose to exclude *.msi if you have a lot of them and you know that they are safe already (they really slow down checking a lot).
Advanced:
If you choose "Detect Potentially Unwanted Applications" you will get a more thorough check for malware other than viruses but the False Positive rate will increase.
Make sure you Update Often, Scan Often (when you know your clean to help spot FPs), and Always have a reliable Real Time [on access] scanner running.
CWP should be used to compliment Real Time Virus protection, Not replace it.
