has anybody had any issues with celesta portable?? Please use CelestiaRemoveReg.reg to remove the registry for now. Maybe I should change the sleep value and see if it has an effect on the registry.

I am recompiling a new launcher, I removed some of the Sleep 100 things and now it seems to work fine, I am just waiting for it to recompile, but it is taking a while since it is a big file. If you could, would you test out my new test when i get it uploaded, which will probably be around 10-30 min after this post or maybe an hour. Well I guess while Im waiting Im gonna go jogging, so if there is anything you find please let me know, thanks for testing.

New Test up I really only took out some Sleep 100 things, but if there is not a lot of registry being used then I will clean it up and add them back, I think that was the problem before, was that there was too much registry in my code and it was taking too long to delete the stuff.

Well I made another launcher, this time it has the needed registry, I deleted the rest which makes the NSIS script a lot shorter in lines and makes the size smaller.So tell me if there is anything in Dev Test 2 I need to fix.

Travis Carrico - April 12, 2008 - 3:37amdid you not use the script i sent you? i see that you made some of the same changes i said, but left out others. See the program i sent you as a reference. your dev test 2 doesn't backup and restore any pre-existing Celestia registry data on the pc, and you're launching the exe directly instead of launching $EXECSTRING, which doesn't allow for ini settings, at the top, !define DEFAULTEXE needs to be celestia.exe, not .cfg. you don't need the default data as the keys are created anyways on first launch. VIAddVersionKey LegalCopyright needs to be "PortableApps.com and contributers". i don't remember everything, just refer to the email.
Edit: forgot to add a smiley in somewhere so i don't seem so rude. so...

I am about to recompile Celestia, and I was wondering if I should use this as the icon instead, appicon.ico Please tell me if I should use it.
Edit: I just got another icon, I might just need to add a black background but now, should I use appicon2 or appicon.ico?
Well I think I made up my mind, Im gonna use appicon 2 since it is a higher resolution of the original, which even the original isnt that great.

Just for you wondering it was updated May 5, the following bug fixes and added features can be found here. Ill update this as soon as I can maybe later today or tomorrow, I might just update today and recompile the script tomorrow because this fixes a lot of bugs and plus I have nothing to do tomorrow
