XMERGESYNC.DLL

jceac - April 12, 2008 - 3:21am

hi
i just started using portableapps today and i installed openoffice among about 5 or 6 other apps. i scanned my thumb drive after with avg and it came out clean. i then scanned with superantispyware and it flagged one item:

Trojan.Unclassified-Packed/Suspicious
E:\APPS\OPENOFFICE 2.3.1 R2\APP\OPENOFFICE\PROGRAM\XMERGESYNC.DLL

i was wondering if anyone could confirm if this is a false positive.
i've read the support page and i know that some antivirus programs do flag items because of the compression, but i did some research on the xmergesync.dll and have yet to turn up with anything satisfying.

explanations would be nice and appreciated.
thanks for any input!
