I'd like to be able to read my favourite ebooks from my usb stick on any computer. At the moment I can't do that as Mobipocket Reader has to be installed on a PC. ( categories: )

I think most people here prefer PDF format, with SumatraPDF Portable ;).
Somebody give me a portable video editor... Please!

Ebook reader
Feedback from Mobipocket is that they've no plans to develop Mobireader as a Portable App. Pity.
Openberg Lector
If you use Firefox portable, you can install the openberg lector extension in Firefox that allows FF to open e-books. I have it, but haven't tried it, but it's worth a look.
