Why ClamWin?

Is it better then avira antivir or bitdefender free edition?
Why was ClamWin chosen as portableapps.com antivirus?

ClamWin was chosen because

ClamWin was chosen because it is open source, and this site supports open source software only (at least at the current time)

F-Prot is not OSS. The only

F-Prot is not OSS. The only anti-virus that we know is OSS is ClamWin/ClamAV.

Sorry.

your point??

More recent, and a better respected test site (IMO):
http://www.virusbtn.com/news/2008/09_02

malware on demand 88.5% adware/spyware on demand 92.8%

The point that has been brought up is that ClamWin is OpenSource and free, which is the kind of software we work with, if you would like to provide information about another program that is OpenSource please let us know.

I had also seen better results from an even more respected site for November, but can't find the link Sad

Tim

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
