Hi, On my Desktop I have Thunderbird 1.5 I copied the profile and the mail Folder as described here http://portableapps.com/support/thunderbird_portable#local_profile But when I start Thunderbird there is just the account creation not my settings and emails. Is it not possible to go from 1.5 to 2.0 so easy? OS is WXP Pro. Thanks ( categories: )

And about the 1.5 to 2.0 switch: I don't know. Sometimes there seem to be problems, but sometimes it seems to work. Maybe the best thing is to download the last 1.5 version, import your mails/settings, check is it works, and then update to 2.0. But I suggest making a backup copy of the 1.5 version so if the update to 2.0 doesn't work you don't have to import again to have a clean setup.
