The developers here at
The developers here at PortableApps.com will only make an appportable if it is both Open Source and Freeware, which Dreamweaver is not.
Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with Windows.
Open Source Alternatives
Of course, we have GUI web editors here (Kompozer and Nvu) that work OK.
There's also a promising looking one called Aptana http://www.aptana.com/studio/
It has come up in a couple of posts

But it hasn't seen much activity lately.
Anybody planning to resurrect this?

Mystic crystal revelations and the mind's true liberation.
Sure,
I'll give it a try. Looks like a great app.
I've been looking for an alternative to KompooZer for a while, this might be it!

It's a shame aptana is going
It's a shame aptana is going the 'professional/community editions' route with their software. tsk tsk.
It is impossible to make
It is impossible to make Dreamweaver portable due to their license and copy protection. Maybe you should refer this question to Macromedia.
its not impossible
it's not impossible. It's just no free though, adobe already has most of their cs3 apps also asportale versions. I have photoshop portable on mine now. But It's a project that no onehere could take on with out it being illegal.
Due to their copy
Due to their copy protection...
Macromedia VS Adobe
Is it Macromedia DreamWeaver you want i.e. v8.0.2 or Newer version owned by adobe?
Macromedia's software license allows you to install a licensed copy on a second "portable" computer provided the "primary" copy isn't being used at the same time.
If its the Macromedia 8.0.2 verion your refering to, you can find a script for a launcher on my site, I use it my self and it works quite well from a usb drive.
Macromedia license agreement posted on Adobe's website
