Exporting settings and OTR keys

Can logs and settings be moved from your desktop to portable apps? If so, I would love to know how. Thanks in advance.

Yes.

There is a .purple folder in your local settings on the desktop (C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\ (copy the .purple folder)), just drop that into your director for your Portable version (usually: X:\PortableApps\PidginPortable\Data\settings (paste .purple right here)).

It doesn't work with diferent versions

I've done it (copy the .purple directory):

Copy from "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrador\Program settings" to "[...]PortableApps\PidginPortable\Data\settings".

I've copyed the plugins directory too:
from "C:\Program files\Pidgin\plugins" to "PidginPortable\App\Pidgin\plugins"

My problem was that the versions weren't the same:
Installed version 2.4.3
Portable version 2.5.4

Just upgrade the installed version, that keep all stuf in rigght manner and then copy the directories again... And: EUREKA!
