Linux compatible PortableApps

I haven't try if the applications here are linux compatible(I dont know how to try). but if ever this are compatible with linux maybe this would help the "One Laptop
Per Child"(laptop.org) by giving people more flexibility to the $100 laptop. They have a "send one get one" program where one buyer will send one to less fortunate child elsewhere. I really want to help out but I'm also less fortunate than others so I want the price to worth the product. Hope this is helpful or even just informative.

Use WINE

Under Linux, one can get WINE which stands for Wine Is Not an Emulator. It allows some windows apps to run on Linux, and Portable Apps is compatible. It is also open source.
