Pidgin

Not to change your pick. But if you've never used Miranda, you might wanna use Pidgin, it's (in my opinion) a lot more user friendly, especially when setting up accounts.

Fire up Miranda If you're
  1. Fire up Miranda
  2. If you're presented with user dialog, just next or whatever threw it. I'm assuming you don't get a dialog like that, but just the main screen
  3. Click on the Miranda Icon
  4. Select Options.
  5. On the top left side, you'll see a box for the modules. Select msn.dll
  6. Enter your msn info
  7. SET THE MODULES BACK TO ALL.Else, you may forget and have trouble.

Hit apply or ok Also,

Hit apply or ok

Also, consider pidgin. Or aMSN.

Search for amsn in the beta testing forums.

Yeah

jonasj, is reply to your above comment, Pidgin Portable is in out application list under Internet where Miranda IM Portable is. http://pidgin.im is where you can find an official Pidgin install for your local computer. PS, I wouldn't recommended using aMSN, it was quite buggy last I checked, but maybe try it.
