No PERSONAL Data
When using PortableApps, all the possibles are made for making sure no personal Data is left behind. So, while there may be some leftovers from your apps, websites, videos, music, e-mails, and other personal stuff is not left behind.

It depends.
If the IT guys have a traffic monitor, it would be much easier to enforce your company's Acceptable Use Policy without having to look at each individual machine. If not, it depends on your configuration and how thorough their forensics are. There are simple methods around the problem, but invoking those methods (especially too often) may be sufficient to arouse suspicion. It's the standard game of cat-and-mouse...
