What can I use to secure my USB drive in case of lost or theft?
If I put my passwords in the KeePass portable and my USB det lost/theft, all my information will be available for other users.
How can I put a password to the whole USB?

This has been discussed many times previously. I'd suggest you do a search for truecrypt.

I would suggest...

...That you always pace a caution to people about truecrypt need for admin rights, before you ask them to search for it and use it.

to the OP, as I do not have my usb passworded, I cannot tell you this, however if you passwords are in keepass, you should not be at risk of anyone getting them.

I use one of these, it has password authentication coupled with hardware encryption and other security measures that are almost impossible to crack, and if someone enters the wrong password 10 times the device self-destructs. Meaning that the data is destroyed. It is designed for use by governments.

It doesn't need any drivers, and it also works under MAC and Linux.

There are no back doors, if you forget your password the device will be useless. It is expensive though...

passwords in keepass ...

won't be available to other users because they won't have the password to open that file.

Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.
