Disable multiple sessions?

I was wondering if there is a way to disable multiple session for VLC so when I click on different media files they open in the same window instead of having another VLC pop up.

How to disable "Multiple Instances"

Here's step-by-step on how to do this...

1) Load up VLC Portable
2) Go to Settings -> Preferences...
3) In Preferences Window, check the "Advanced Options" box
4) Click on "Advanced" on the left side, but NOT the plus
5) In the Performance Options, check the "Allow only one running instance" box
6) Hit Save

Once you hit save, the change permanently goes into effect until you change (& save) it.

Enjoy!
