Firefox bookmarks and All-in-One sidebar toolbar

Submitted by tradeinthailand on July 29, 2008 - 12:34am

Hi All,

I have just found the range of s/w available to run on my USB drive and am having so much fun with it.

I have installed Firefox and a number of add-ons.

This morning I was setting up some of my important bookmarks within the All-in-One sidebar toolbar. When I then loaded up on my computer at work none of the bookmarks were there. They were not on the Bookmarks toolbar or on the All-in-One Sidebar.

Can anyone give me some help with this.

Thanks in advance

Chris R

I use all-in-one sidebar, and

I use all-in-one sidebar, and it's never given me a problem. Try seeing if the bookmarks.html file is in your FF Portable data directory under the sub-folder profile. Open that up in FF, and if it's your bookmarks, use the "Import export" option in the file menu and open up bookmarks.html in there. If that doesn't work, I don't know what does. Well, ok. Try restoring bookmarks.html from a previous portable application backup.
