I have FF3 in my computer and FF2 in PortableApps on my USB stick. I tried to move my FF3 profile to Portable Apps but it’s not working like before. Is there a step by step new procedure since FF3? ( categories: )

The problem is that you cant downgrade easily.
So the easiest thing is to update the USB-Stick version to FF3 and copy it over.

Bookmarks only?
If you want to move the bookmarks only (going on the basis of your post's title), then you can EXPORT the FF3 bookmarks into an HTML file, and then IMPORT them into FF2.
If you want to move your entire profile, then it becomes a lot more complicated and it would be best to upgrade to FF3 in both places.
