Hi, IMHO it is very complicated to exclude a folder! Why is it impossible to deselect subfolders after selecting the main folder on the right side of the backup-windows. And: When i click "preview" EVERY subfolder turned red, although there are no rules activated Otherwise a great program ( categories: )

right click menu to do this will be added in the next release. As for the second point I am afraid I cannot reproduce this, can you give me a set of steps that you followed please?

The addition of right
The addition of right clicking to add rules would make this program fantastic. I hope it comes soon. The current way to exclude folders is far too cumbersome to be useful.

No, I didn't?! I thought those will be created by selecting?!
/EDIT: Ok, after setting up a set of rules and saving a job it works!
One last question: Does "Exclude by name" mean, files with the same name are excluded as well?
No
only files with the same name and file extension will be.
