Is it possible to put the files of a portableapp into a 7z archive? I tried this with clamwin using rar and it work(but slower).

Question is, is it really possible or what?

What do you mean? a self

What do you mean? a self extracting archive that autoruns the program? Yes, it is possible. I suggest RAR -m3 as has faster extraction though.

I believe he means running

I believe he means running the executable while it is stored inside an archive. It can be done but expect it to be much slower.

Also,

I think that whatever he wants to run will be extracted to the %temp% folder, who knows if it will get deleted after being used.

If he ensures - he knows.

If he ensures - he knows. It's really not a problem.
