Hi, is there any portable player to play .rm, .rmbv extemsion?
Currently there's portable VLC available but still, unable to play .rm or .rmbv extension.
Please recommend.
Thank you.

Hi

Have you tried MPlayer Portable? I'm pretty sure it supports the RealMedia container format.
Thanks, and Welcome to PortableApps.com.

The only way is:

Many media players claim to be able to play rmvb, but they can not unless you have the real player codecs. On this site there is Mplayer portable. Download that and then do a google search for Mplayer. Go to the web site & download the codecs. Place them in this directory :D:\Portable Programs\MPlayer Portable\App\mplayer\codecs\". Note: change the "D:\Portable Programs" to suit the path to where you install Mplayer. Here is a listing of all the codecs that you should get:
atrc3260.dll
cook3260.dll
cpuinfo.dll
drv13260.dll
drv23260.dll
drv33260.dll
drv43260.dll
libiconv.dll
mccommon.dll
npxulplayer.dll
pncrt.dll
sipr3260.dll
tokr3260.dll
wnaspi32.dll
They can also be compressed with UPX.
This site also has SMplayer which will play rmvb if you do as above. I don't particularly like these programs, but they are free & portable.
