Can't get Portable Abiword to work after installing WordPerfect Import plug-in

When I try to open the program after installing the plugin, I get an error msg saying that "AbiWord.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I followed plugin installation instructions at http://portableapps.com/support/portable_abiword#plugins.

Without plugin, Abiword works fine. I'm running it on a Memorex 512 U3 USB drive.

I'm new to this scene so I apologize for my ignorance on how to fix this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please advise if more info is needed to provide diagnosis. Thanks!

This is a bug in AbiWord: http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7057. I'm pretty sure the crash will go away if you install the OpenWriter or OpenDocument plug-in alongside the WordPerfect one.

I installed the suggested plug-ins and AbiWord works beautifully now.

Just a note: this bug will be fixed in AbiWord 2.4.6, which will be released upstream soon.
