First of all, Google Chrome probably won't be portable, as its closed source, and uses a EULA.
the browser behind Google Chrome, called Chromium possibly might, as its open source.
adn also, in the Beta Testing forum there is 2 versions of chrome/chromium portable.
But there’s no sense crying over every mistake,
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
OK. Call it what you will but something with a lighter footprint than Firefox would be spectacular.

Search here for k-meleon, what chromium does , does it too.
