I downloaded the ClamWin Antivirus. ClamAV update process started at Sat Apr 22 03:03:19 2006 ------------------- ------------------- On the last line it says that it might be that "none of the mirrors listed in freshclam.conf is working". It mentions a freshclam.conf file. So i assume one exists, I searched manually through all the subfolders, and I can't come up w/ that file. The closest thing is under PortableClamWin\clamwin\bin and it's freshclam.exe. The other thing that line says is "Your network may be down". I doubt it's my network since I retried to update a couple of times, and I'm currently online. Can anyone tell me if I'm supposed to have a freshclam.conf file?, and if that's the case, how can I get it? If not, can anyone tell me if I can download the Definitions somewhere else?, and if so, where? ( categories: )

No need for freshclam.conf file...
No need for "freshclam.conf" file...I don't have that file and it works fine.
Are you using the "PortableClamWin.exe" file in the root directory to launch the program?
Other than that and downloading/installing it again, I can't think of what it would be. :-|

I am using the "PortableClamWin.exe" from PortableClamWin directory.
I tried deleting the folder and downloading it again. Got the same error, so I tried downloadind from a different mirror, and still I get the same error once I install it. :S

After I tried downloading and installing the program. I just went to sleep. When I woke up, I decided to give it another go and..... it's downloading. The only thing that comes to mind is that maybe their servers where down for maintenance or something.

Network Issue
Sounds like a network issue on your end. I just checked and it's up.
Live with purpose.
