Command Line to Restore?

toucannewuser - October 5, 2008 - 6:31pm

Hi,
I could not find any information on command line format to restore files that I have backed-up using "Backup" on command line. Can somebody let me know..?

Thanks

Hi

sorry, I completely missed this post Sad

At the moment it isn't possible I am afraid, why do you need to?

'...and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard...' JFK

Wondering

I was wondering the same thing since a restore would only really be done if there were a data loss/corruption, right?

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I think it could be useful to

I think it could be useful to do all through the command line so for example applications can use them. If its possible for backup, why would it not be possible for restore? Why would people use it? Hmm, maybe someone makes some app that offers backup and restore through using Toucan of course. (Sorta like the backup/restore used by the PortableApps menu)
