I think he still thinks he is the king of the Off-Topic Forum.
Also, Mix, in here the usual problem is not the ability to make an app portable, but the legality of doing it. An example is Paint.Net, that although it is OSS it uses closed Source .Net Framework that is illegal to modify or redistribute.
So, unless you are willing to go deep down the code and remake an app from scratch (or just screw up and break .Net's License and make warez, aka, illegal apps) you wont be able to make it portable. That's the main reason not as much apps as it should are portabilized.

A suggestion for MMT
Dude if you wanna do something how bout make a list of all the apps that have been requested, note if they can be legally ported and if not why. Post it and maintain the list keeping up to date how many requests for the app, if any one has taken up the app and when there's a test or that a link to it. Similar to the test releases page but with the extra parameters. It'll keep you occupied in a constructive manner and I think the work would be appreciated.

but seriously though despite the fact that it is annoying that MMT is dotting his posts don't forget to be civil. Though I cant find the thread now I remember a while back John posted about being polite to one another in the posts. I quite liked it and it encouraged me to become somewhat active in the forums as I didn't think I would be getting pounced on for being a noob and not knowing the established forum etiquette. I think we all should lay off MMT a bit. I mean for him to go to the extreme of blanking all his posts illustrates that he feels fairly bad about how hes been responded to.
I don't know whats been said or done well enough to defend or condemn MMT but just looking at this thread I think it's been let known he's annoyed you all and then some so maybe just leave it be from here?

Mix Master Trix has gotten many warnings and requests and he has ignored all of them. He's been a constant pain and has shown no improval. Plus he's not a noob at all he's been here for 3 months.

Does anybody get the feel that MMT is getting what he wants? Attention?
If we all lay off and ignore his indecent (I know the word isn't being used entirely correctly, but) posts and reply to those that are, perhaps he will learn.
I for one will just ignore his attention whorism (if a moderator feels that is in bad taste, as always, my permission to fix it) and reply to the civil, polite posts that he makes.
