PortableApps Menu - update function

how about adding a 'update installed portable apps' function to the portableapps menu?

your requested app is already in the beta forum called PortableAppsupdater, but it will take some time till it is released.

into the PAM and not as the seperate updater app we have currently.

Well... The backup function in the menu is just a link to another app on the usb drive... so all you have to do is make another one like that.....

but it would be handy if it was in the same section of the menu as the options and backup utility link instead of the app list.

should come with the next PAM update..

as far as the updater has been finished till then, and of course it should fit into the standard arrangement - till then you could bide your time with R 34 mod and tweaking the theme ini. With standard arrangement of folders (=updater folder within PortableApps folder)the lines for adding the update button are here (sorry, it´s posted on the German page, but there´s a good tutorial on PTC now): https://portableapps.com/node/15639
