Message Notification like Digsby for Pidgin Amarus - November 3, 2008 - 6:46pm
Do any of you know if there is a Plugin for Pidgin that enables interactive message notification for pidgin a-la Digsby? You can reply directly from the message notification. I find this to be very cool and a feature that will add a +2 to productivity for Pidgin. Here is an image Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well. ( categories: )

Sadly there's currently nothing like this available even through plugin. I saw this question asked in the Pidgin IRC channel a few weeks ago and they didn't have many options. The closest you can get is the Guifications plugin which provides notifications (when someone sends you a message), however you cannot reply directory there as awesome a feature that would be.

Thanks for the suggestion. While Guification doesn't allow direct reply from within the message notification, it does work well not to mention that it has theme support.
