1) THE SPLASH SCREEN FINALLY WORKS!!! It seems the the splash screen and the opening 6 times were linked. I fixed the splash screen and now you don't have to close it 6 times!!!

2) Now I just need to fix those registry errors Sticking out tongue

3) Do not disable the splash screen! The bug comes back :'(

Ok I had to do a huge major overhaul of the source for you gluxon and here you go all updated, splash working and an option to install additional languages is in the installer Smiling

I hope I'm not too picky, but I found some stuff that...

  • the Source folder should be capital on the first letter
  • add the copyright to the AkelPadPortable.nsi
  • the AkelPadPortable.ini should have more options(?)
  • whats the PortableApps.comInstallerCustom.nsh for? It has something about GIMP...
  • the appicon.ico has only 32x32 256 but you know...
  • the size of the help.html is "only" 0 kb so there's nothing there Sticking out tongue
  • when I started it up for the first time it put everything into the registry so maybe you should place the ini file in App\DefaltData (makeit) and delete everything in the ini file so it looks like that and make it copy it to the program dir and well, have it so the SaveSettings=2 will be that and not 1 which is the registry option

    I'm not really woried about Zach's verion, and compiling it.

    I prefer to do the launcher by myself. In my own method. (Zach can do the Installer Sticking out tongue, which was a total wreck)

    This is interesting...

    Even with the ini file, with the entry SaveSettings=2 in the AkelPad root, if you go to options... settings... Advanced (1), it still saves the settings in the registry!!!
